Ghazal: Can Appear Poem by Mystic Qalandar

Ghazal: Can Appear

In the hush between two hearts, a wordless light can appear;
Through the arrows of lashes, a garden of sight can appear.

When unwavering vision settles deep within the seeing,
The eye's secret prayer, before the Lord, burning bright can appear.

In love's bazaar, Zulaikha may return once more;
In the court of kings, chastity's truth, robed in white, can appear.

What earthly tribunal can sever love's living stream?
Even beneath a charge of guilt, love's innocence, wronged yet right, can appear.

O lamp upon the path, burn on through the darkest night;
By the flame of devotion, a cleansing twilight can appear.

When love's own radiance descends upon the heart, my friend,
The death of every worldly desire, put to flight, can appear.

Love is fire—it burns whatever stands beside the Real;
Within that very flame, the light of Truth, in its might, can appear.

When the thick veil of ego and selfhood falls away,
The first glad tidings of unveiled Reality, in delight, can appear.

Do not confine love—love is majestic, boundless, and free;
Within a single speck, the whole universe's starlight can appear.

MyKoul, in yearning's furnace the ego grows silent and slight;
Where the claim of self is erased, surrender's rite can appear.
