Ghost Poem by Bill Upton

Ghost

Rating: 5.0

Someone said you were looking for me.
They said they had seen you at my house.
They said you had a perplexed look on your face
As though you were trying to figure out
Where else to look.
I heard you went to the lake and took a walk around,
And then drove down to the riverwalk.
Finally, I heard you went into the church
Trying to find me.
You know you don't need to search.
I've been everywhere you had looked.
I was there with you.
Close your eyes,
Give me your hand.
I'm always here with you.
