waiting for the four fifteen
on an empty platform
I stood
cold
alone
when the train came
screeching brakes tore
lines of doors opened
but nobody got out
only noise
footsteps
chatter
hustled by commotion
I was jostled within emptiness
breezing air rushing by
no-ones of nothingness
crowding out of the station
a whistle sounded
the train moved off
I stood
cold
alone
