Ghost Train Poem by Lee Allen

Ghost Train

A half full carriage,
not all the seats were vacant but nearly all were empty,
The unfulfilled victims of normality,
Symptoms ablaze.

Faces deprived of expression,
Tired physiques masked in emotionless uniform,
Heads buried deep in todays lies.

I too will ride their trains,
I will walk their streets and indulge in their delicacies,
But i will never join their number,
I am immune to the virus.

I refuse to conform to their rules,
For if every normal person must die,
I shall live forever.
