I am but a ghost, unseen by most,
A specter that haunts like a forgotten host.
I seek a place, both near and far,
Where I can rest and be who we are.
But even in the brightest light,
I am not seen in the most beautiful sight.
And in the darkest days and gloom,
I am not seen, like a withered bloom.
I am a ghost, lost and alone,
In a world that is both cruel and unknown.
I seek a place where I can be,
Where I am seen, and can simply be.
But the honesty of two-faced men,
Has left me broken, time and again.
I cannot make heads or tails,
Of this cruel world, where honesty fails.
So I wander, lost and alone,
A ghost seeking solace, a place to call home.
Hoping one day, I'll find a place,
Where I can be seen, with beauty and grace.
