Gifts

Thanks to the one who ignite the sun
And light the stars at night
For letting me experience
The beauty of nature’s rebirth in spring
For giving me the ability to love
And the profusion
Of all wonderful creations of summer
The ability to love
The fall with its crop
The wild berries and sweet fruit
And the ability to love
Winter so clean with crisp snow
In an early frozen morning
With air as clear as glass
For giving me love
Thanks one more time
For giving me all this and much more
All the creatures
The people I love
Giving me ability to love
Food on my table
The chance to have fun and laugh
The opportunity to feel happiness and sorrow
They both are my friends
They make me know I’m alive.
All this does make me thankful
I’m so happy!
I live!
