Gin Sin Pietra Poem by Mason Maestro

Gin Sin Pietra

He was just a skinny man
But I don't recognize him anymore
Hesitated to ask for a tissue
Alive, alone, a brother to the core
The sun on my skin
Celebrating 30 and drinking gin
... and she's not even here

'Gin Sin Pietra'
Clare spoke in Spanish, and sang-
'He was just a skinny man
But I don't recognize him anymore
Hesitated to ask for a tissue
Alive, alone, a brother to the core
Celebrating 30 and drinking gin'

(2003)
