When I herd the news
That you had gone away
I thought it was a lie
I didn’t know what to say
You were there from the beginning
But now were at the end
I’ve always truly loved you
You were my best friend
When ever I would cry
You knew my pain inside
And now you are gone
My feelings I can’t hide
Although you are not here
To dry my lonely tears
I still feel you near
You take away my fears
Now you are not here
There’s things I can not do
But I wrote this poem
In loving memory of you!
