Girl Stop That Lie - Poem by George otto Becker
Among the stars your heart spars,
The ones who held you and the ones your heart does tar.
You were so young,
That perfect cutie.
You woke up one day and found a man so free.
A man with dignity.
He treated you well and cared for you.
You enjoyed his love and his desire for you.
You broke his heart and you were through.
Don't sit here and cry,
As you act shy.
You had your choice and chose that guy,
And wanted that man who would treat you bad.
