Give Me A Hug Poem by Prasad Natarajan

Give Me A Hug

Give me a Hug

Oh, what a calm still evening,
The sun settling down,
Chill breeze blowing,
Tree leaves turning brown,

Little black birds chirping,
Crickets go on with their song,
Yellow pale grass swinging,
Here nothing can go wrong,

Remaining ripe fruits on the tree,
They taste so delicious,
Now shy moon is with me,
Nothing seems ambitious,

Curvy river flowing gently,
I step into her flow,
Ripples in her heart,
Into her depths here I go,

Floating and giggling,
Fooling all around,
Bliss of freedom,
Can you hear that sound?

No cloths to wear,
I don't care, ignorance I hug,
My heart is thumping,
I am a tiny little bug.
