Give me bread.
Give me bread,
That I may never go thirsty again,
Give me life,
That I may hear your voice,

Give me time,
That I may get a healing,
It is time that give's me remedy,

Give me bread,
That I may never forsake you,
Give me love that I may find my esteem,

I don't need any destruction,
I need peace and justice,
I need conscience,
That I may find no guilt,

Give me bread,
That I may value the life that I lead by myself.
