Give Thanks Poem by Crepino Zembere

Give Thanks

There are the things I see
As I open my eyes and see
Here, right in front of me
Till now in this life I be

I always give thanks for life
Although over the pains that fold
Yes to the Lord. My God
As the days and time pass by

Every morning comes out the sun
Through the day from east to west it run
Shining unto my face again
As I kneel and once again I say amen!

As I trod outside, rain fell upon my head
A blessing only God has made
Filling the lake and the earth below
So that in my field crops I do sow
As you bless them and make them grow

Through the years I've seen better days
But I have also seen bad days
I always consider myself blessed
Just for the privilege that I am saved

I will always praise the Lord
For everything He offers
To us the acquitted sinners
That one day we may obtain His graces
