Vanity Upon Vanity Poem by Crepino Zembere

Vanity Upon Vanity

Rating: 5.0

Is life a treasure
Where one finds leisure?
Or is it a seizure
That deprive one from pleasure?
An awful horror that has no measure

If life was a dream
I would have smiled
If life was just like cream
I would have been relieved
Then why all this pride?

Riches and amenities cease to exist
Like a ticking time missile
Pride and life become exterminated
Like snow on a sunny day
Then why all this lust?

At the end a story comes
The untold story of Mutuwa
Affecting the acquaintance and contemporary
Which rather forms a tear-jerking documentary
A time to start the unprepared journey.

The only hope comes from the man above
Whose thy word shows love
The only trust hails from the Lord
Whose thy word accord
Then why all this delay?

Life is a treasure. We should keep wisdom of God within and trust on him. This is very nice sharing.10
