yesterday
i held you
not letting go
as if
today
you would be
taken away from me
today
i'll
love you
like
i wont
have you tomorrow
and tomorrow
i'll kiss you
so much
that
the following day
my lips imprints
will be
dented
into your cheeks
so you
will always
be kissed
by me
and you
can always
kiss me back
when i'm gone
Beautiful piece, wow! 'And you can always kiss me when I'm gone'. Wow, I love it.

Hi Lee - you are lovely! I love the way you have S T R E C H E D the poem out to make your kiss linger and last much much longer. This a dynamic action poem and I love it. All love making should start with an hours kissing and I know most California Girls would say AMEN to that! The memory of a 'real mutual kiss' is awesome and it lasts for eternity. You could have written your poem in a circle its called POESIE CONCRETE. The shape of the poem is defined by the content. You have achieved this by making your poem as long as you dared. Never be scared of experimenting in your poetry - that is what PH is for - you post the poem - let us do the commentary. What is your memory of a KISS? 'The following day my lip imprints will be dented in your cheek so you will ALWAYS be kissed by me - and you can always kiss me back when I'm gone'. AWESOME - AWESOME. Once in a while we do get kissed - just like that - and we remember it for ever. Each of your poems is more beautiful than the last. Thank you for being such a delight. Score? another MAX! Love in poetry - JOHN.
