Giving Up Poem by Fanged One1

Giving Up

The second day, the sixth month,
The Two thousand and tenth year.
A day i'll remember, forever,
The one day, i should have shed a tear.

I come to you for aid,
For it was a day I was mostly sad.
Hanging out, it's what we did,
Then things went bad.

You arrive home,
You're set to stay.
Something changes,
You run away.

I leave in dismay,
It was the worst.
I walked unusually slow,
That was a first.

The memory that will forever be,
That started off as a repressed thought.
As I left your house,
I gave up everything I fought.

No longer do I try,
No longer do I care.
No longer am I fussed,
Whether it is our lives that we do share.

Our friendship will stay,
'Cuz that will never break.
No longer am I hopefully,
For that future, will remain a fake.
