Glass Poem by Kani _

Glass

If shards of glass,
Were scattered all over my mouth,
I would've still weaved you sentences,
To make sure you know that you're loved.

If shards of glass,
Were scattered all over my throat,
I would've still swallowed everything you've placed before me,
To make sure you know that someone could take you whole.

If shards of glass,
Were scattered all over my lungs,
I would've still drawed every breath deeply into your fragrance,
To make sure you're carved inside me.

And still, you wander around in your thoughts,
Asking,
"Am i important to you? "

Tapi sayangku,
If i were a poem,
You would be my writer,
If i were a flower,
You would be the sun,
If i were a pious worshipper,
You would be my God,
You would've been and always will be the sole reason for my existence.
