Glide - A Word More Than A Famous Church Poem by Bill Grace

Glide - A Word More Than A Famous Church

At Glide Memorial United Methodist Church in San Francisco
I have seen children dancing in the sanctuary,
enough is known of churches that many are offended.

Those dancers know nothing of rocket launching buttons.
Perhaps if a child could lead us we can also be educated:
to dance in a sanctuary,
and leaving rocket launch buttons behind,
help dissolve the energy
that murders children in distant class rooms.
