Glitter Poem by Kevin Seales

Glitter

Rating: 5.0

Is this glitter that I see
Lying on the floor next to me
Is this one time, two times, maybe three
That we've discussed this you and me

I know it's pretty, and I know it shines
But you're stressing out this poor heart of mine
I wanna be nice and I wanna be kind
But you guys are walking a very fine line

So tell me I'm sane, I'm not really crazy
I know I'm not boring, psycho or lazy
But all this glitter makes me think that maybe
I'm just seeing things, things are getting hazy

So go right ahead, put your stuff on the floor
I'll be around some day to settle the score
And don't even think you can make me do more
You just watch me walk right pass your door
