Glitter And Glue Poem by Asma Khan

Glitter And Glue

Rating: 5.0

Meeting you was like listening to your heart
And knowing one day you'd pull me apart

A silent look in that moment was so soothing
One wouldn't know what he's losing

Stars lit your fire all the way to mine
Until the moon gazed and turned blind

For once come and ask me the dream
And hand over all those days that gleam

Tell the strayed winds not to blow
When the springs hold my desires to glow

Paint all eyes in diamonds and gold
Hush in my ears all those desires untold

Meeting you was like looking at your heart
And knowing you'd leave me from the start

A roaring storm of tears swallowed my words
Crushing the nest of two love birds

No one knows what the hearts whisper
Till the pain grows through eyes more crisper

It may glitter in my eyes and life gets the glue
That's how you know my love was true

Go to the blushing sunset and ask my name
It would tell you what I just said the same!
