Half A Heart Troubled Poem by Asma Khan

Half A Heart Troubled

It's a half mystery solved
a paradox, a contradiction
just like an unfinished
masterpiece of the unwritten fate

It's the half battle resolved
a practice, a plot
just like an undefined
dream in the foggy winter's past

It's the half life involved
an uphill battle, an unwritten odyssey
just like an uncovered
sun's face rising in your morning eyes

It's a half truth dissolved
a timeless joy, a priceless triumph
just like an untouched
desire bore in an innocent heart

It's a half empathy devolved
an inherited destiny, am uncommon belief
just like an untamed
glance of lover's hunt

It's a half heart troubled
a silent creeper, a raging storm
just like an unknown catastrophic
call of nature's defense in itself
