For once in my life, I'm truly happy,
I can't remember the last time.
My smiles aren't tainted,
They are real.

You make me feel again,
You brought back light,
Light to my once darkened existence,
You share the glowing ember.

Your sweet, soft rays cast on me,
So tender yet I feel its power.
It cuddles the darkness in me,
And pokes its way tru my core.

Even when depressed and sad,
Your voice; it makes everything ok.
It gives me hope for tomorrow,
It reassures me that life is worth living.

You will never know what u do to me,
I can't even explain it, needless to try.
I'm done pondering why it is so,
I'll just let destiny manifest its self.

If it is fate then it will be,
If it was written in the books,
So it shall be.
We have no say in it.
