Have you ever had something that was so close
Yet so far?
Something just out of reach,
Because you prevent yourself
From getting to your feet and going after it
Only because you don't want to appear weak
If your attempt fails.
So instead you passively dream
Lay and think about what could be
Because you're too cowardly to act
Too afraid of rejection and failure
Or desperately hoping that it will come to you.
But life typically isn't so
Things are never easy
You always have to do the work
Even if it seems obvious and simple
So get up
And go.
