Go Be Poem by johannes lewinsky

Go Be

(every life is a gesture in the face of absurdity)

Go be
clever, vicious
intolerant miserable
but free

go be
indolent, voluptuous
whatever it is
you want to - have to
Be

Go be
In the chaos of your addictions,
Your needs desires
unconquerable lusts

Go do
The thing you most wanted
Not to do

But craved with such insane -
Almost as though
it was it that craved - not you -
Unquenchable insistence
That it would not -
could not
be gainsaid

Go invite
The whole world in
to your soul your body

Go assess
assimilate
facsimilate
till all that's left
is to spew back out
not just the gristle bones
but the very souls you macerate

and always you will think
to grant of no admittance
and despise each one

And once done
Must stand & laugh
Amidst the ruins
you've with such assiduity
created

go love
go hate
go excoriate

go be
all the things
god dictated
you would have to

go be
unto yourself your self

but sweetheart please please
do it without me
