God

Rating: 3.8

Who is there
to declare
present I am
except you my God.
Who is there
to help me see
to help me hear
to help me think.
And I am forgetting
everything.

You are there to
search me out.
And I am preparing
for dawn
keeping aside the sun.

What to say
who am I
here I am
with the dust
of this clay
that is melting
in the sky.

You God a scapegoat
watching my dance.

And you are here
to feel tomorrow morning.

Not a simplistic, know-all-the-answers poem about God, which is wh and in the sky, where he could seem like a scapegoat if we are honest.
