God Gives To Us A Brief Time - Poem by Amy Stoler

To walk this Earth below.
To do our best to serve Him
Before it's time to go.
What we do with our life here
Is written down up there.
God keeps His books in order
So, friend, please have a care.
Love your neighbor as yourself
Take time to lend a hand.
When he's fallen lift Him up
Until he learns to stand.
If he falters walk with him
Your strength will see him through.
Just as we in weaker times
Depend on God's strength too.
Our time here is just a span
Our life he'll one day sever
Then we'll walk beyond the blue
To live with him forever.
