God give me strength
to hold on tight
at this, my weakest time

Guide me to
next morning's light
teach me how I can move on

I've lost my way
I am unloved, my spirit
withers to die

I've slipped the mind
of the one I love
he vowed never to say goodbye

I've failed myself
I've let him down
I need guidance from above

Let him find in me
the good you see
so I may forever bask in his love
