A true measure of faith is our only hope
As we turn to prayer for answers to renew.
Honesty, love, trust and integrity
Are all we need to practice and pursue.

Life on Earth is God's seed of resolve
To teach we are never in total control.
He decides our outcomes of right and wrong
As the consequences of time take their toll.

Satan hates uprightness and is jealous as hell
Staying aware of all we think, fear and desire.
Indorsing temptation to reject or fail.
As our trust in God highlights the liar.
