God Spoke Poem by Macy (Nina) Dvirnak

God Spoke

Rating: 5.0

Why is the world here today?
The Lord spoke
Why are we sinners, like sheep gone astray?
The Lord Spoke.
Why all this toil, no comfort of Eden,
Since man didn't obey?
The Lord Spoke.
Why work the dust of the ground, from whence we came,
And eat 'By the sweat of our brow? '
The Lord Spoke.
Why do we, naturally,
Posess the desire to before,
God, want to worship and adore?
The Lord Spoke.
Why is Jesus glorified,
And why, for sinners, did he die?
The God Spoke.
Why shall God return again,
To take away Isreal, His bride?
Why me, a sinner, justified?
The Master Spoke.
Why will there be Revelations, wars,
And roomers of wars,
Nearing the End Times?
The Lord Spoke.
Why is God an eternal Being,
But the world shall be no more?
The Lord Spoke.
Why is it, that when a man speaks,
His words blow away
As kernals of grain,
And yet, when God speaks, his Word is as rock,
Forever to remain?
He Speaks-
'Heaven and Earth shall pass away,
But my words shall never pass away.'
Why do these things occur,
And as it were,
The penalty of sin man did not have to pay?
The Lord Spoke -
'For God so loved the world,
That he gave his only Son,
That whoever believes in him
Shall not perish,
But have the gift of eternal life.
Why?
The Lord Spoke.
'Go now! Help the needy,
And the weak!
Save hearts that are broken! '
Hurry, now!
Jehova has Spoken.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
As each person goes through life, they find that they have questions- questions that desperately need an answer. Questions like, 'Why am I here? ', 'How did the earth, its creatures, and man come into existance? ', 'Why did this happen to me? ', 'What happens to me after I die? ', or What is my purpose in life? ' So, I wrote a poem to answer some of these heartfelt inquiries. You see, sometimes we don't understand the things we go through, or always understand why certain things happen the way they do, but it is all a part of God's personal plan for your life. A person my say, 'If God is real, why does he let bad things happen to me? ' The answer is this- God places you in a difficult situation to shape your character and to mould you into the person he desires you to be. He also wants you to know that he is a real, loving, caring God that is right with you every step of the way, and He's right there to help you, if you will only cry out for His help and guidence in your life. God has a purpose and destiny for your life, and wants so very badly for you to accept him as the Lord of your life, so that he may help you through all those rough spots in your life until you reach the gates of heaven. Then he will gaze lovingly into your eyes and say, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant.'And you will have made it to heaven via a relationship with Jesus."
