Goddess Poem by Dharma Gill

Goddess

Virtuous presence requires such attention.
As the hair of molar dust.
Plentiful smooth as rose silk.
Her eternal integument
a sigh
no rust -
pure as platinum.
Texture of angora -
soft kindnesses in her ilk.
In purification, no dilution.
The season of her lips autumn.
The charm of a bright star
twinkles in her eyes.
Her being blesses the light.
Her heavenly hands touch of peace.
Her arms gated with gold dust.
Her soul purifies the onlooker.
Her colour of red petals, never falling.
The wind chimes in key notes -
tempo, deep notes.
Her mild speech of softness spoken
calms even the roar of an unsettled ocean,
commands even the highest obedience.
Her radiance of flowing silk light
a diamond twinkling one dark night.
Time to embrace her velocity.
Momentarily thinking with my other mind,
as the view stood still
for a sand grain to pass through time –
a sand grain in the second
as enchantment took her place
and her beauty seems to flow forever.
