Goddess Scent Poem by Mustafa Ghuneim

Goddess Scent

Rating: 5.0

Your eyes were glittering, and your smile was so sweet,
The sun was burning in a day when summer heats,
Your skirt was so responsive to the wind,
the crusty papers of exams under my shoe grind,
I looked at your hands, where a shining crystal ring laid,
so majestic, on your smooth skin, I belong to touch,
To me you were more than just a lust;

Your eyes were glittering, and your smile was so sweet,
The sun was burning in a day when summer heats,
Your hair was so responsive to the wind,
and your white shirt was sexy enough to make my heart beats,
You were irresistable but I haven't moved a foot,
Although I guess I looked great, in my rocker form of suit,
To me you were more than a fantasy;

Your eyes were glittering, and your smile was so sweet,
The sun was burning in a day when summer heats,
Your curves were grabbing me from my cloth,
And I couldn't just tell you the truth,
That the wind moved for you to response to it,
That the summer's heat was there because you hit,
That the crystal ring was shining when your beauty blazed,
and the words I am telling now are not just a haze,
because,
You're too good for me,
I curse those eyes who loved to gaze,
I hate the mind that told me to trace you,
and my legs that followed orders of what's under my face,
I told my senses to stop, I tried to prove it,
but the voice rebounded in my head,
Do you know why there goes the wind?
Do you know why summer hits?
Do you know why crystal rings shine?
If you just knew, If you once did!
