Godspeed Poem by Clive Culverhouse

Godspeed

I'm going, I'm leaving
I'm going to tomorrow by bed
best travelling at night
where church bells speed the hours there
for my arrival at first light
to a newer land than today
and I've only packed my hopes
alas I often over pack
