Gold Mine Poem by Vidi Wija

Gold Mine

Just a feather can fly
Thousands are hard to do
When the light begins to fade out
Nothing can fly

Where the cheers of gold come
They also come to be shined
To bath in the gold mine
Diving the pure gold to obtain

They already know the miners
The ones who worked hard
Digging the ground to find
The shiny things to be loved

Shouting hard to do
Sweating never mind

The golden butterflies fly to bath
In the deep golden flower garden

Gold is a garbage
They are the rubbish
Such a bad smell they talk
When the words come to destroy
All the fake faces
Which are beautiful to see

For along the miners worked
Problems make the burden heavier
To stand along they can't
Just swimming to the running river

Love and pity no more
Gold is everything
To be beautiful they are
All the colourful butterflies

They who shine in the golden flowers
Not they who sweat in the dark cave
They who are fake but beautiful in face
Not they who are dirty but pure in heart

They are the butterflies with poison
The beauty comes to kill

The other ones are the miners with sweat
The darkness comes to purify

All the gold miners, not the golden butterflies
Try to fly they can't
But they can dig to find
The pure gold in their deepest heart
