Gone
Are we meant to be?
Are we meant to last?
When I look at you...
All I see is our past.
Now you are gone
Gone forever
Will I survive?
I think NEVER! ! !
As we walk away
Please dont look back
I'll never forgive myself
And the heart I lack
As I turn my back
And look over my shoulder
You are now gone
As the night gets colder
As i sit and wait
Listening for a sound
Wondering, Wondering, Wondering
If you are still around! ! !
I hate to say it but maybe losing her was for the best. It made you who you are today. A U.S. Marine. And a good friend. Things happen for a reason, good writing.
wonderful... it hurts to lose someone you really cared for... ik ive had it happen... and just a tip writing poetry doesnt have to be depressing. read those about love or something happy you might get inspired. just a thought.10/10
