Gone Poem by Ocean Love

I gave you everything
all of me
knowing nothing
of me
my grace my power my love
un-empowered
devoured
by your immaturity
lost
in your fury
a speck
in your blurry
view of the world
Not knowing
I gave you
not knowing
I bathed you
in love
All that I knew
was to give
and not worry
what came back.
I lived that way
til it was too much
finally realizing I needed
love
to leave
to fly
to see
everything
that was me
in me
waiting
to be free.

I did.
Here I am
I miss you
I long for your warmth
but I hate you
for what your ignorant
hurtful things
did to me
I mourn for our love
but I dont NEED it anymore
the way I did before
when that was ALL I knew
NOW I know
I can have more
there's all that I can devour
for my pleasure my joy
and you
you are just there
unforgotten
in my heart
you were my first one
to love and give all of me.
But that's in the past
must I move on?
I believe I must
Leave you to the universe.
And let me go my way.
I don't know if maybe we're
meant to be one day.
In the meantime
Lets grow
on our own.

And I wish you to know
that you hurt me so
every molecule of my being
was broken by your meanness
I will never ever forget
and I Deeply Deeply regret
letting you be that monster to me.
I will never wish it upon anyone.
I hope you know what it means
to really love a woman.
To love anyone
for that matter.
