Gone Again Poem by Chelsea Pieterse

Gone Again

She heard her scream
but he screamed louder
a door was slammed
and he became an outsider
she watched him run
jumped over the wall
down the steet
to darknesses call.
she sat at her window
stared at the stars
Brightly burning
the skys eternal scars
and she waited
through the night
and she waited
through days light
her face became
a home to her tears
he was gone agan
the worst of her fears
