Gone But Not Forgotten - Poem by BladesongRaven Gehrig
My gracious friend
has it been 10 years,
since you were you and I was eye?
I miss you friend,
Longing so search endless stretches of dreams
Untouched by your sweet grace,
Alone now in 28,
Where do I find a sweet boy
falling into the fire of myself,
so I forget my desire for you,
I have borne a daughter,
Married divorced
and still loving you
Stretch myself into the racks of a smile
not easily forgotten,
so in trying to forget
my soul seeks confessions
Still my heart is yours
Torture me no more
Ghost of summer love
pure like a childs heart
I know more in the longing for you,
not easily forgotten,
For you my pen bleeds
the pure star of love,
Even song birds still there wings,
Cock there heads
listen
The babbling brooks
Silenced
by the solitude of loves suicide.
