Gone Crazy Poem by Bancroft Boreland

Gone Crazy

Rating: 4.8

She left in the rain
I never saw her again
Now I can’t eat, I can’t sleep
I even quit my job
And everyone thinks I’ve gone mad
What did I do to deserve this?
Now nothing is the same
And everything is strange

A smile is a frown and up is down
Blue looks like red
And alive feels like dead
My mind is a prison I can’t escape
This is a nightmare from which I can’t awake
I know now that your love was fake

Even the day is darker than the night
There is only sadness in my life
To be sane, I try
But even the truth is a lie
Your memories are palpable
Of moving on I’m not capable
I don’t even know what I’m thinking
Why am I even living?
Now yesterday is today
I know nothing I say
I’m alone, sad, hopeless and crazy
All because of one deceitful lady.
