Good-Bye Poem by prabhnoor kaur

She said, "we would never part."
And swore that by heart.

Though I wished it to be true
Yet knew it was impossible too.

When the time came to choose the road
My heart started to corrode.

I knew it earlier that are aims were contrasting
and to fulfill it our friendship would not be lasting

When the time came to say good bye,
we had no other choice but to cry.

She said "we will keep in touch
though knowing it was not possible as such.

We called /messaged each other every day
but slowly our enthusiasm started to fade away.

We both were very busy making our destination
and holding onto our friendship was far from imagination.

At last she called to say good bye
and again we had no other choice but to cry.

Time passed and passed
our hair vanished and vanished.

Then came a stop in our life
where we had a lot of time.

Now I wanted her
and she wanted me.

I tried to search for her
But the result was quit blur.

And at last we had to say good bye
That again caused us to cry.
