Good-Bye My Friend Called Emotion Poem by Kellyn, A Grau

Good-Bye My Friend Called Emotion

Broken wings lay torn by my side
Curled up in a ball trying to hide
Suffocating in this sea of emotion
Wandering threw the shadows motion
Ice cold hands reach for someone
Broken stair know what I’ll become
One more day I’ll sit here alone
Is their no one out there to show me the unknown
Blinded by fear and tainted by love
Tears fall down as I look up above
The wounds never die and my tears never fade
Locked up in this emotional shade
Paint me with the blood that’s been spilt from me
Kiss off my dignity and hold me close as I plea
Take your silver friend and cut out the lies
I love you so much but yet I despise
I despise the way you look into my eyes
The way my heart flutters as I place up my disguise
I’ll keep quite, I won’t utter a single word
I’ll inscribe all the things that I have heard
Into my mind where it will stay locked up tight
I’m sorry I fell for you I thought my heart was right
Don’t worry for me, I’ll push the thoughts to the back of my mind
So I can forget and you’ll still be blind
To what I wished for my lips to utter
But now there is nothing I will allow to be muttered
Good-bye to emotions, I’ll send them on their way
I’ll face tomorrow’s with no hopes and go one each day
