Good Cheer Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

Good Cheer

Festive high
Giving a fresh twist
With offbeat mock tails
And cocktails-
A time for families
Friends and relatives
To get together
And make merry
In the marriage party
Unleashing inner
Dancer and singer
Giving seasonal heat
A splash of glory
But, this time-
Joys turned into sorrows
I'm missing-
Missing beloved mother
From this landscape!
