Good Eats Poem by Rue Palmer

Good Eats

A slice of pizza, warm and bright,
A triangle of pure delight,
With cheese that stretches, golden, wide,
And toppings stacked in layers of pride. The crust, a cradle, soft and firm,
Holds secrets of the oven's burn,
Tomato sauce, a tangy spread,
On which the taste of dreams is fed.spinage crisp and bold,
Tells a story, never old,
While mushrooms, calaloo, olives, peppers too,
Create a flavor, rich and true.A perfect bite, a fleeting joy,
A moment nothing can destroy,
For in this slice, a world complete,
A simple, savory, wondrous treat.
