Good Looking Woman Poem by Nilufer Dursun

Good Looking Woman

At the beginning our comrade was a book-worn
Under his hand at his bed side
Always had a book
Read day and night
During the last weeks he postponed reading quietly
With a plump woman had a chat friendly
What a gossip woman I am, .aren’t?
If it is necessary to tell the truth
I blamed myself even
It is none of my business
To interrgate the life of a single man
Either reads a book or a good looking woman
