Good Night God Bless Poem by David Boyce

Today we lost a family elder,
Taken from us today,
Together we think of his family,
As we sit and kneel to pray.

God called him back this morning,
Giving him his final call,
As his body weakened slowly,
Releasing his spiritual soul.

Your duty on earth is over now sir,
As you walk towards the pearly gate,
Your family gone before you,
Were there standing to wait.

With so many old memories,
You have made within our time of life,
May you now rest in peace,
In the arms of your loving wife.

Phil you will be sadly missed,
By all your family left behind today,
We will say Good night God Bless,
As we all kneel down to pray.
