Good Respiration Poem by Judd David

Good Respiration

Hey you best take a break now
All and all it’s good respiration
So sleep like the dead
And wake up lovely
Sing a song about the morning
Sing it till the sun goes down

Now I puff before I sleep
Try to think things through
I never meant for my skin
To fall on you
You brought life to my imagination
And now the dream is gone

I’m a box of germs unopened
My red flag sinking in the sea
My steamboat she’s going down
Saying “one more puff, will you die with me”

All and all it’s good respiration
Believe me, believe me
