Goodbye Poem by Christina T Aadams

Darkness surrounds my window in the light.
All through the morning and into the night.
I pace in my bedroom when I can't sleep.
I feel like I'm sinking into the deep.

I don't have answer for things I don't know.
All I can do now is move on and grow.
I'll find someone new to take your place.
When that time comes my heart will embrace.

The light is starting to peek in through the cracks.
I will welcome the morning and say goodbye to the black.
I'm fine now without you I can say farewell.
Tomorrow brings hope, but what I can't tell.
