Goodbye Poem by hated failure

Goodbye

I trusted him.
I told him everything
I thought we had it made.
But now I see how wrong I was.

He was my best friend
The one I could trust
Above all others.
Now I know what a mistake that was.

Every time I saw him
Every moment I spent
Thinking of him
They were total wastes of time.

Those who say
Hindsight is 20/20
Are unfortunately
All too right.

I wish I never would have met him
Because if I hadn't,
Despite all the good that has
Happened, this would not be necessary.
I wouldn't be saying goodbye.
