Goodbye Poem by Kaine Madison

Goodbye

How I hate the veneer
It makes each curve shine
Up on a dais beneath rainbow
Glass
Calling to me with each step
I take
It pulls me closer and I am gripped
With fear
Her memory changed forever
Replaced with this painted face
