Goodbye At The Bay Poem by venessa ambrose

Goodbye At The Bay

The sunset at its horizon toward the east
Now my bags must head across the west
Away from the bliss felt once
Light laughter lingering
Toward uncertainty of great ounce
An unseen rise beginning
Away I go
Beyond hurt toward hurt
Searching for pain's gain
In broken broth lyrics
Of sorrow debris
Never to behold those days by dawn
When to the warmth of your hand I run
And the sound of thy voice long gone
From our game of two can be one
And the night whisper
Of the moonlight tender
Goodbye at the bay
My last phrase to say
