Goodbye (Elegy) Poem by Andrea Doumit

Goodbye (Elegy)

Rating: 5.0

His life slipped out of my hand,
As I lay him down in the golden sand.
The cries of the raven high above,
I can't describe my ending love.
His body lay without life,
While I stand over him as his weeping wife.
