Goodbye my love...
was the last word i said...

as you slowly closed your
eyes, as the wind took your heart away...

i stood and watched you,
knowing i can't stop you, or help you....

i stood there quietly
while my tears rolled down
my eyes, and it broke my heart
to say good bye....

Goodbye my love
im not happy, but then
i don't want to see you suffer another pain....

When you took your last
breath, I couln't watch, and my tears
couldn't stop....

But, yet all i could say
was goodbye my love...
You asked me to smile
but i ignored and watched
your heart beat slow down....

Goodbye my love was
the last words i said
before the Angels took you away....
